Special Ceramic grit (Sapphire Blue) abrasive on a super flexible yellow cotton cloth backing. Hermes RB406 J-flex is pulled over small rollers to make it even more flexible so it can get into all the awkward places. Thick but flexible cloth backing to protect fingers. Long lasting resin reinforced. Excellent choice for general purpose sanding on the lathe. Easily tears by hand into strips if needed.

Sharp ceramic coated grains of semi-precious corundum for quick and free cutting
Heat absorbent blue coating prolongs abrasive life
A favourite with many expert woodturners
Also excellent results on metal particularly stainless steel
