A Universal Pen Mandrel 2 Morse Taper.
This advanced mandrel telescopes into the Morse taper holder to accommodate different length projects. It comes with bushes for standard twist pens and also bushes for 12mm fountain pen kits.
Wooden or brass spacers or cones can easily be turned up yourself on the mandrel, using your woodturning lathe and tools, for other projects such as model wheels, peppermill tops etc. If turning brass point the scraper down, wear eye protection and shorten the mandrel to give increased rigidity.
The tailstock end of the mandrel needs to be supported by a 60 degree cone revolving centre.
