Fast drying highly popular polish. Simple to use. Durable with high water resistance. Can be easily burnished to a high gloss Designed primarily as the topcoat compatible with Cellulose Sanding Sealer. When used on top of the sealer it gives a very attractive result. Apply with brush or cloth (safety cloth is ideal) and wait twenty minutes or so (less on a warm dry day). Burnish with a handful of shavings or better still Chestnut Burnishing Cream
The melamine is an additive to this cellulose based lacquer which gives it hardness and water resistance. Although the polish will dry very quickly, the melamine component has to "cure" to reach optimum hardness and this process can take a day or two to complete. If you want a glass-like finish it will pay to leave the polish to harden for at least a few hours before burnishing. If you are impatient you may prefer to use a light coat of spray melamine which gives a good result without burnishing.
