This machine has been checked for smooth running and the grinding wheels balanced where necessary in our workshops.
To complete your woodturning tool sharpening setup we recommend that you fix this grinder onto a stout board such a piece of kitchen worktop then mount a suitable jig in front of the blue microcrystalline wheel. The Sorby 447 deluxe jig will cope with all your tools. We also recommend a diamond grindstone wheel dresser to keep the cutting surface of the wheels fresh and cool cutting.
If you need to do some rough grinding - for example garden tools, you can fit the coarse wheel on the right.
