How to order from us.At the moment we do not have fully fledged "shopping
cart" online software but you can order by email and send us your credit/debit/charge
card details through a secure server which uses 128 bit encryption for your security.
Just go to our secure order form , fill in the details
and click on the submit button. If the order is at all complicated you would need
to also send a list of your requirements or request a quotation by email to [email protected]
Ordering from U.S.A. and Canada
UK customers. You can proceed as follows. .
Alternatively. You can telephone
with your order, card details and address etc at any time (answerphone out of
office hours 9 - 5 Tuesday to Saturday) on 01787 237 291. Please be sure to
leave your telephone number or email address in case of problems.
Or you can fax all the details on 01787 238522
Or you can use old fashioned mail and send a letter to The Old Hyde, Little
Yeldham, Halstead, Essex CO9 4QT. We issue order forms, but just a letter is
adequate provided all the necessary information is there. You can pay by personal
cheque but please allow 7 days for us to cash the cheque. If your cheque is
not drawn on a bank in UK please add £10 foreign cheque bank charge.
You are of course welcome in the shop. We are closed Sundays and Mondays,
otherwise open Tuesday to Saturday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Catalogue prices INCLUDE VAT. Postage to an address within the U.K. mainland
will be charged at £4.25 (Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland £6.25)
unless the value of the order is over £120 in which case postage is free.
Carriage on machinery will be charged at cost.
If in doubt email or fax for a quote
Our normal carrier is Parcelforce and we use the 48 hour service. This means
that there will be two working days delay from despatch date. If you order by
telephone late on a Friday we will despatch on the following Tuesday (we are
closed Mondays) and you should get the parcel on Thursday. They require a signature
on delivery. If you are normally out on a working day please contact us for
advice.
Security and Privacy
We recommend that for security you do not email your credit card numbers - use
our secure order form which uses 128 bit encryption.
We can keep your card details so you can send follow up orders by email. Please
note that for your security we do not keep card details on a computer and they
are not retained on the server. We do not pass your personal details to others
without your express permission.
