This lathe is in excellent condition and would be perfect for anyone starting a new hobby. It is the precursor to the Record CL3 lathe and is almost identical in design and specification. It can easily be upgraded to electronic variable speed by adding the Record upgrade kit. Compatible fittings, chucks etc can be obtained from any Record dealer.

• Lathe 36 inch x 12 inch diameter between centres
• Pivoting and sliding head, 5 speed (lift motor and move belt)
• Spindle thread 3/4 x 16 tpi. Chucks available
• Upgraded to latest cam action "banjo" for easy relocation of tool rest
• No 1 Morse taper fittings
• Outboard turning attachment enables 30 inch bowl turning
• 0.75 H.P. motor and push button NVR switch
• On heavy wooden bench (can be dismantled)

Complete with (not shown) drive centre, tailstock centre, screwchuck/faceplate auger guide and counterbore drive for lamp drilling, knockout bar, thread protector and centre ejector.
