Sintered stainless steel quality grinder mechanism. Finished height of mill approximately 265mm (about 10,1/2 inch) including brushed stainless knob. Actual shaft length 248mm. Fits in 24mm diameter hole in barrel. Requires recess for 38mm diameter retaining strap set 8mm or more deep in base.
Shaft is 5mm square section aluminium. Grinder is held in by plastic strap in base (screws not supplied)
It is possible to shorten the shaft by cutting down the bottom end and swaging with a hammer to retain the inner grinder. This saves having to re-thread the top of the shaft.
