A reel of robust (23 S.W.G. or 0.024" diameter) nickel chrome wire for heavy work and shaping small brands etc. The tip can be sharpened if required for finer detail or hammered flat to burn fine lines such as feather, fur. grass effects etc.
You can make heavy duty shading or lettering points with this wire by winding it around a stout needle to form a small coil.
This 1 ounce reel gives 11 metres of wire which is enough for up to 300 points. So the cost of experimenting with making your own points is very small.
