This sticky chuck disc is 57mm (2,1/4 inch) aluminium machined to fit the Vicmarc VM100 or Record4000 standard jaws.
To use it it is heated on a small hotplate or with a soldering iron and a small amount of hot melt glue applied on the face. It is then placed on the wood. When cold you can commence turning. When the project is finished the disc is reheated and pulled off leaving no recess or screw marks. Surplus glue can be scraped off or removed with white spirit.
