Threaded insert to fit Patriot and Supernova chucks
Available in most lathe spindle threads up to a maximum of 1,1/4 inch or 32mm.
We usually include one insert in the price of a chuck but you will need an extra one if you have another lathe with a different thread or if your lathe has a left hand thread on the outboard side of the headstock. Patriot chucks come with a spanner so you can quickly change threads.
Also fits the insert version only of the Record G3 and Record (Teknatool) Supernova chucks.
The insert will only fit into a female thread in the chuck 38mm x 3mm. It will not fit 1,1/2" x 6 tpi (Graduate) or 33mm x 3.5. For those large threads you will need an EXCERT or you will need to buy a directly threaded chuck. Left hand threaded inserts are unfortunately not available for Viceroy (Denford) lathes.
