A good quality accurate drillchuck and key. 13mm capacity. Fitted with a special arbor which allows the use of a drawbar and conical nut to retain the chuck in the taper. This prevents spinning and enables the drillchuck to function as a miniature woodturning chuck in the headstock for tiny turnings. Only suitable for hollow spindles and non telescopic tailstock barrels. The threaded rod unscrews so the chuck can be used as normal.

No play in bearings. Hardened and ground 60 degree point. A very successful design. Over 12,000 were made over the years.
Just what you need for lamp drilling
It has a large side hole to facilitate release of shavings from the auger and to prevent dust build-up jamming the auger in the tailstock. The auger does not have to be withdrawn all the way (just as far as the side hole) when clearing shavings so the whole drilling process is very much quicker and easier. The centre finder has a hardened 60 degree cone and can be extended and used as a miniature tailstock centre giving improved access to small turning work. Available in 1 or 2 morse taper. With hex key and instructions.
